Ruohan Zhan is an assistant professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Decision Analytics at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Her research focuses on optimizing online marketplaces by evaluating marketplace interventions, analyzing the dynamics among multiple stakeholders, and improving platform operations such as recommendation systems and online experimentation.
