Prof. Kuei-Yuan Chan

Dr. Kuei-Yuan Chan is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at National Taiwan University, where he also holds a courtesy professorship at the Institute of Industrial Engineering. His research primarily centers around uncertainty modeling and identification within engineering systems, with a particular emphasis on energy, robotics, and transportation. From 2016 to 2023, Prof. Chan served as the Deputy Vice President of Academic Affairs at NTU, concurrently holding the position of Director for the Center for Teaching and Learning Development from 2021 to 2023. As a founding member of the school-level virtual design institution, Stanley D-School@NTU, established in 2015, Prof. Chan played a pivotal role in its growth, transforming it into a prominent innovation platform in Taiwan.
