My research focuses on solar-driven photoelectrochemical systems and atomically engineered catalysts for sustainable fuel and chemical synthesis. I integrate catalyst design, operando characterisation, and device-level engineering to enable the selective conversion of abundant feedstocks, including NOx, CO2, methane, water, and biomass-derived resources, into value-added chemicals and fuels.
I have established an internationally recognised research program spanning photoelectrocatalysis, electrocatalysis, and solar fuels, with particular expertise in operando synchrotron spectroscopy and integrated solar-to-chemical systems. My work aims to bridge fundamental mechanistic understanding with scalable technologies for decarbonised industry, sustainable agriculture, and net-zero energy systems.
