Dr. Ying Yang

Ying YANG obtained her Ph.D in Chemistry from the University of Liverpool in 2023, working under the supervision of Prof. Andy Cooper; and her master’s degree in Physical Chemistry from the East China University of Science and Technology in 2018. She joined the National University of Singapore as a research fellow in 2024.

 

Her research interests mainly focus on the interface between polymers and microorganisms for solar fuel production with expertise in conjugated polymers, photocatalysts, and physicochemical characterisation techniques.

 

During her career, she has worked both in research and industry (Solvay, SK Geo Centric, and AstraZeneca), where she has developed research/marketing projects and proposals with multicultural group members within a cross-disciplinary team.
