Dr. Danielle Holmes
Postdoctoral Researcher
University of New South Wales (UNSW) Sydney
Dr Danni Holmes is a quantum physicist working at the cutting-edge of quantum computer development, a field set to revolutionise technology. Her research at UNSW, Sydney focuses on engineering and manipulating the quantum states of single atom spins in silicon to pave the way for building a quantum computer using technology from the existing multi-billion dollar semiconductor industry. She received her PhD in Physics from the University of Melbourne and her masters and undergraduate degrees in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge. Danni is a passionate science outreach communicator, sharing her love for quantum physics well beyond the laboratory.
