Professor Hyoun Jin Kim obtained her BS from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST)in 1995, and MS and Ph.D. from University of California, Berkeley in 1999 and 2001 respectively, all in Mechanical Engineering. She joined Seoul National University in 2004 as an Assistant Professor, where she is currently a Professor in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.

She has been serving as an Associate Editor of multiple international journals including IEEE Transactions on Robotics and IEEE Transactions on Control of Networked Systems. Her research activities focus on aerial robotics, autonomous navigation, and robot learning.
