Prof. Kyoko Ishizaka

Professor for Department of Applied Physics and Quantum-Phase Electronics Center

The University of Tokyo

Prof. Kyoko Ishizaka received her PhD in Applied Physics from the University of Tokyo in 2004. After working as a research associate at the Institute of Solid State Physics (2004-2009), she became an associate professor of the Department of Applied Physics, the University of Tokyo in 2010. Since 2018, she works as a full professor at the Quantum-Phase Electronics Center, the University of Tokyo. Her present research focuses on investigating the physical properties and functions of novel quantum materials including topological materials and superconductors, by means of photoelectron spectroscopy, ultrafast electron diffraction, and ultrafast transmission electron microscope.
