Dr. Shiva Abdoli is a researcher and lecturer in the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, UNSW, Sydney.

 

She has a diverse experience in International Universities. She worked as a researcher in Royal Institute of Technology, KTH University, Sweden, Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany, and joined UNSW, Sydney in 2014. She has industry experience as a Production line manager, Project Manager, and Engineering Consultant.

 

She is the leader of the Industry 4.0 research group and director of academic programs in the school of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, UNSW. She is a member of Capability System Centre, UNSW, Canberra and Circular Economy task force, NSW.

 

She leads research projects with various industry partners in the context of smart product life cycle management and digital engineering.

 

Her research interests are: Data-Driven Product Life Cycle Management, Digital Twin, Systems Engineering, System of Systems, Product-System design, Industry 4.0, Sustainable Production-Logistic Systems, and Circular Economy.
